Ball Street is a sports stock exchange. Athletes are valued by performance, shares trade on an open market, and your portfolio grows with the game.
What Is Ball Street?
Ball Street is a sports stock exchange where fans can buy and sell shares of real athletes. Every eligible professional athlete is listed with a Ball Street Value and a live market price, and shares trade openly between fans. Instead of following a box score, you follow a career — buying shares in players you believe in and selling shares in players you think have peaked. If you know sports, you already understand the fundamentals.
What Is Ball Street Value (BSV)?
Ball Street Value (BSV) is Ball Street's proprietary measure of an athlete's underlying value. It evaluates sport-specific factors such as performance, rankings, market value, and other relevant indicators to create a standardized valuation. BSV is updated on a schedule — not by individual trades — so it reflects the underlying fundamentals of an athlete's career rather than short-term market pressure.

Every athlete earns a Ball Street Score — a standardized rating used to compare athletes within their sport's valuation system.

Trade instantly through the market maker at the live buy/sell price, or place limit orders. Prices move with demand, volume, and the underlying score.
Build your portfolio
Track cost basis, unrealized gains, market cap, and allocation across sports. Watch your portfolio value move in real time.
Complete challenges
Earn challenge points by trading, diversifying, hitting milestones, and building your watchlist. Points stack as you play.
Spend in the Store
Redeem challenge points for share packs — every pack contains real athlete shares, including at least one priced over $10.
Athlete IPOs
Eligible athletes are listed on Ball Street through an IPO. Each athlete receives an initial Ball Street Value and an offering price, and shares are made available for fans to buy. Once public, the athlete's shares trade freely on the open market.
Buying Athlete Shares
Open any public athlete's page, enter how many shares you want, and buy instantly through the market maker at the live buy price, or place a limit order. Shares are added to your portfolio and your cost basis is tracked automatically.
Selling Athlete Shares
When you are ready to exit, sell shares back through the market maker at the live sell price or place a limit order. Proceeds return to your available cash balance, and your realized gains are recorded in your portfolio.
Athlete Prices
Each athlete has two key numbers. The Ball Street Value is the official valuation set from performance data and updated on a schedule. The market price is the live trading price, which moves continuously with buying and selling pressure. When the market price sits above the BSV, the athlete is labeled Trading Above; when it sits below, they are labeled Trading Below. This creates the central question of Ball Street: where do you think the athlete is headed next?
Building Your Portfolio
Combine shares of athletes across sports into a single portfolio. Track your cost basis, unrealized gains, market cap, and allocation by sport, and watch your total portfolio value move in real time as the market moves.
Leaderboards & Competition
See how your portfolio stacks up against other fans on the leaderboards, follow public profiles, and compete on returns. Earn challenge points for trading, diversifying, and hitting milestones, then redeem them for share packs in the Store.

Market Price
The current price of one virtual share. Moves with trading between fans.
When the market price sits above BSV, an athlete is labeled Trading Above; when it sits below, Trading Below. These are neutral observations, not investment recommendations.
BSV Update Schedule
Ball Street Values are refreshed on a sport-specific schedule as new valuation data becomes available.
A scheduled update does not mean every athlete's BSV will change. Values move only when updated underlying data produces a change in Ball Street's valuation. Market Prices can move independently through trading activity.
